He was PAUL ALLEGRUCCI Chief.

Allegrucci had been hospitalized several times in the last year, and was admitted Sunday as a medical patient. He resided at 237 Susquehanna Avenue, Wyoming. A native of Nocera Umbra, Italy, Mr. Allegrucci came to this country as a child and resided in the Old Boston Settlement of Jenkins Township before moving to Wyoming in 1923. Mr.

Allegrucci served as Wytiring in 1967. Previously, he had oming police chief 15 years, re: been a special police officer and was self employed as a building contractor. He was a member of St. Anthony's Church, Exeter; Fraternal Order of Police; Pennsylvania Police Chiefs Association and Luzerne County Civil Defense. Surviving are his wife, the former Della DeMark; a son, Gene.

Wyoming, teacher in the Wyoming Ares. School District; brothers, Michael, Williamsport, and Edward, Wyoming: A sister. Mrs. Betty Costello, Trenton, N. two granddaughters.

Nesbitt Hospital First Board Member Dies Mrs. Haertter, former Kingston teacher, died last night at the home of her cousin, Mrs. Lavina Miller, 1006 Vine Street, Avoca, after an illness. Born in Kingston, she was the former Susan Meginess. She a graduate of Kingston High School and East Stroudsburg State College and was a teacher in the Kingston school district, retiring a number of years ago.

Mrs. Haertter was 8 member of Kingston Presbyterian Church and its various organizations, and was one of the or members of the first board of Nesbitt Memorial Hospital. She the widow of John H. Haertter, a mining official of Lehigh Valley Coal pany. After his death she and her sister, Mrs.

William H. Prynn, resided at Hotel Sterling until two years ago when Mrs. Haertter went to the home of her cousin in Avoca. Her sister and cousin survive. Funeral will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 from the home, 913 Plane Street, Avoca.

Rev. Ray J. Marquette, pastor of Kingston Presbyterian Church, and Rev. James Glasgow, pastor of Langcliffe Presbyterian Church, Avoca, will officiate. Interment will be in Forty Fort Cemetery.

She was 77. She was in Italy and previously resided in Wyoming and Swoyersville. Surviving are her husband, Siro; a daughter, Mrs. Olga McMullen, at home: brother, Andrew Morotti, Miami, Fla; one grandson and great-granddaughters. Sewage Plant Worker Dies Hunlock Creek Man Stricken on Job A Creek was stricken heart attack and died yesterday afternoon while at work on the sewage treatment plant being erected Hanover Township by Wyoming Valley Sanitery Authority. Joseph Novak, 41, of RD Shickshinny, was stricken at N3 p. m. Dr. John P.

Gibbons, county coroner, and George A. Strish, deputy coroner, attributed death to coronary occlusion. Hanover Township ambulance was called when Novak became ill, Responding were John Linkiewicz, Kenneth Baver and Peter Steve. Also taking part in the investigation were Sgt. John Sudo and Patrolman Leo Szmuro of the township police department.

It was reported Novak was hired Monday by R. H. Metzcar and Son Company, Cincinnati, which is erecting the steel structure for the treatment plant. Mr. Novak was born in Ashley and attended Ashley High School.

He was a World War 2 veteran in which he served with the Navy Seabees. He resided in the Hunlock Creek area 10 years. Surviving are his widow, Victorie: daughters, Lisa, Becky and Renee, at home; his morther, Mrs. Mary Novak, Ashley; sisters, Mrs. Anna Dutko, Trenton, N.

Mrs. Helen Ledger, New York City; Mrs. Mary Sawicki and Mrs. Catherine Chomack, Bridgeport, brothers, John Novak, South Barre, George Novak, Bridgeport; Andrew Novak, Ashley. Funeral will be from the funeral home, 105 North Main Street, Ashley.

Friends may call tonight 7 to and Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 10. John Wojnarski John M. Wojnarski, 58. of 474 Second Plymouth, died yesterday morning at 9 at the family home. He had been in ill health several months and was under a physician's care.

Born October 22, 1909, in Plymouth, he was a life resident of the borough. He was a member of St. Mary's Nativity Church, Plymouth. Mr. Wojnarski was last employed at the Washington Colliery of Glen Alden Corporation as a miner, retiring in 1951.

He was a member of Washington Local, United Mine Workers of America. Surviving are his wife, the former Elizabeth Lozinski; sons, John and Robert, both of Windsor Locks, daughter, Mrs. Mary Martin, at home; three grandchildren; brother and sisters, Mrs. Bridget Dopkowski, Vincent, Mrs. Mary Perkowski, and Mrs.

Rose Radgoski, all of Plymouth, and Sister Mary Ottona, stationed at St. Mary's Convent, Plymouth. Mrs. Evans was a member of First Methodist Church of Kingston. Surviving daughters, Mrs. Pearl Berry, Kingston, and Mrs. Alice Dougherty, Delaware; sons, Ernest Evens, Theophilus Evans, Kingston; sisters, Mrs.

Farano Admits Having Obscene Literature Anthony Farano, 45, of 502 Monumont Avenue, Wyoming, charged with possession of obscene literature and intent to sell it, changed his plea to guilty yesterday before Judge Robert J. Hourigan. A juror was withdrawn in the case and the jury was discharged. Following that development, Farano later waived on a charge of receiving stolen goods.

The case wil be resumed this morning at 10. Assistant Dist. Atty. Charles Lemmond represented the Commonwealth and 1 Atty. Howard Berman, the defendant.

Mr. Zuba was born in Poland and resided at Avoca 61 years. He was a retired mine worker. He was a member of SS. Peter and Paul's Church, Avoca.

Surviving are his wife, the Andrew, Dover, Sophie Chrobak; and Joseph, sons, both of Dupont; Mrs. Joseph Avoca; a daughters, Mrs. Joseph Gromala, Mrs. John Velehoski, Slusark, Elizabeth, N. a brother, John Zuba, in Poland; nine grandchildren.

Krysick, 47, of 8 Frederick Street, Swoyersville, died yesterday morning at 9:30 in Nesbitt Memorial Hospital, 35 minutes after admission as a medical patient. Shricken with a heart attack at home, he was taken to hospital in the community ambulance.

Employed by B. F. Goodrich Company, Exeter, Mr. Krysick worked Tuesday night returned home yesterday morning after 7. He had been under the care of Dr.

Paul Sedlak, who pronounced him dead at the hospital. Mr. Krysick was born in Larksville and lived in Swoyersville most of his life. Prior to his employment with B. F.

Goodrich he served with the Merchant Marine 24 years, retiring in 1965. He was a member of Good Shepherd Polish National Catholic Church, Plymouth.
